Pailleur (barn) was a part of the house in which we all spent much time; apart from being used to stock hay and to dry fresh baked black bread, it was used as playroom by children, who enjoyed jumping on the hay. In special occasions, like holidays, the barn was the place where adults met, to sing traditional songs and dance all together.
